Finding out who I've always wanted to be

I am in my very late forties and FINALLY love what I do!!. I have been an avid traveler all of my life. My favorite TV show when I was little was "The Love Boat" (I did say I am in my late forties). When I was 8 years old I asked for a trip to Hawaii for my birthday (a girl can dream). I used to watch Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel, thinking she had the best job in the world.

Fast forward to 2019. I am beginning to look toward the horizon and see the sunsetting of my career, thinking to myself, what will I do next. I met with an acquaintance who is a travel agent to ask about her career path. She offered me an opportunity to work with her as an Associate Travel Agent. Then COVID. So yeah, we won't get into that. Even still, I found my PASSION! I love dreaming about, thinking about, reading about, learning about and planning vacations!

This year, 2021, I was blessed enough to purchase my own franchise. I am so excited and finally feel like I am doing what I was always meant to do.
